Great sub. Initially I didn't expect this thin looking sandwich to fill me up but man was I wrong, it was full of flavor and very filling. Had the toasted club and will for sure have it again. Despite being a small chain I believe the atmosphere felt like a mom and pop deli. Environment was cool with lots of stuff to look at especially king kong.

Everything is great about this place. The decor is pretty sweet and the subs are giant and very tasty. Only downside is they're a little pricey.

Larry's Giant Subs has great hoagies (not subs). I love the Chicken Parm and recently had the Italian steak, basically a cheesesteak with marinara sauce, and that was excellent as well. Always great service here, everyone is very nice and I've never been disappointed. The only drawback is the price, it can get a little pricey for what you get, about $11 for a 12" hoagie, chips, and a drink. Not the kind of prices where you can go every day for lunch, but it's a great place to stop in every week or so.

Our first time here. Never heard of a Larry's Giant Sub shop. We stopped in on our way back home from a week in Daytona. Originally went to Publix but the line for the deli was so long so we thought we'd try this place. Got waited on right away. There were others coming in and noticed they were waited on and served pretty quickly as well. I got the tuna sub and my husband got a sub with corned beef and pastrami. We were both pleasantly surprised with the taste and amount on the sandwich. Was more expensive than a subway but did taste better. I loved that they said Hello when you walked in and were very friendly.

Pleasantly surprised. I had the big Italian sub. I enjoyed the bread the most I liked that it was slightly toasted and not huge and fluffy making it difficulty to eat. The meat was great quality and generous portions. I had the 12 inch for $8.51with tax. I ate the entire thing. They had shredded lettuce but didn't drown your sandwich like Jimmy Johns. Considering the amount of meat and quality you get this beats subway in value and cost. The inside has too much going on a ton of stands with random snacks that don't exactly belong like store packaged cinnamon buns. I wish they would clear up the clutter as that would add to the experience and not take away from the main attraction, subs. Also the menu had various posters made by hand that looked cheesy. This place needs a marketing and environment face lift. Eat out don't dine in. Also they have gluten free bread for a hefty upcharge of $2.50 medium $4.50 long (approximately).

My husband and I decided to give this sub place a try..since it had 4 out of 5 stars.. We ordered chicken parm sub. The chicken seemed under cooked with no flavor what so ever.. and the menu said "grilled" which it seemed boiled?.. Needless to say we took 2 bites and ended up throwing away the rest of the sub... $9.00 down and still hungry..

Great food, sketchy business tactics. I had been going to Larry's for about a year straight. One day I was knowingly charged twice for a bowl of crab bisque, once on my tab, and once on my girlfriends tab. (I had already sat down and dug into my sandwich!) We didn't discuss the actual matter until we left... 12 dollars for a bowl of crab bisque (6 dollars a piece), it BETTER be King Crab...FRESH King Crab!!! (Old review before Yelp added phone reciew feature)

I've heard of this place from a long time ago, I decided to take a look and I'm sad. They make us wait a long time even if there was no more people, then they offer me something and sell it to me, but when they'll going to give it to me they told me that it wasn't available and the already charge me something more that was more expensive. I'm deeply disappointed with this place.

Bomb sandwiches. Wait is never much even when they're busy. Yes, they decided to go hard or go home with their decor, but the food talks. Thinly sliced onions, good bread, fresh sliced meat, all you need.

Great subs. We found this by Luck. Quick service. They bring the sub to your table. Highly recommend.

I used to frequent Larry's when I lived up in Jacksonville, so I was so happy to find one here in Central Florida. They're easily some of my favorite subs, and this particular restaurant didn't disappoint. The menu is extensive for a sub shop, which includes plenty of both hot and cold subs. The restaurant is clean. The staff is great, being very friendly to children as well, which went a long way with us. I'd give this place 4 stars simply on the taste of the calypso, but I'm definitely giving it four stars when you include how helpful and friendly they always are.

The decor is a bit eclectic with a lot of neon and a 3D gorilla on the wall, but the subs are good. Its a nice change from the Panera or Chipotle type lunch spots that are popular in this area. I like the reuben.

Best subs in the Daytona/Ormond area! And right beside the beach. Sooo dank! One of my all time favorites since I was a kid.

I stopped at this location today and got charged $1.02 on a$6.49 sub. That's over twice the going sales tax rate! It was actually a 4 star sub.

Love this place! It has been around for many years...I used to go here while in high school! Anyway, the service is speedy and friendly. The subs are made to order with very fresh ingredients. I like that the subs have more meat than bread, yet the bread is tasty and fresh! Some may not like that so much but I just get tired of big, ole' sandwiches with big ole' buns and a tiny bit of meat. These types of places charge you for "extra meat", which you most definitely will have to order. But not so at Larry's. Larry's reminds me of a NY deli in someways. They also sell salads, wraps, hot dogs and more. There is limited outdoor seating. Yum! You should check it out!

This is the best sub shop I've ever eaten at, and I make a point to go here every time I go to Daytona. I've slowly been working my way through their menu, and every single sub has been great. Their bread is amazing, and they use top quality meats. Not to mention the famous Soup Man soups and Carnegie cheesecakes imported straight from NY!

I have been here a number of times in the last 5 years and never not once had a bad experience. I HIGHLY recommend the lobster bisque, and the best part is if you want something that is not "on the menu" for the day they go out of their way to provide! Don't forget to order a Calypso, you won't be let down!

I'm very disappointed that they have started to cut corners. It's all about the money and no longer about the quality.

The philly was definitely yummy, and they have LOTS of subs for you to choose from. I like the fact that it was served quickly and yet everything was hot and toasty. Definite Kudos and look forward to coming back!

I don't dine out at restaurants or fast food joints very often but I really liked the experience having breakfast here. The food was delicious and the service was excellent - the staff members were friendly and interesting to speak to. I liked the setting of the restaurant and how it has a unique look to it, like a privately owned local restaurant! If you're in the Daytona beach area or are planning a vacation to the city sometime, I highly recommend you dine here!

I hit Larrys when I need a sandwich and I don't have time to waste. The sandwiches are stacked pretty good. Wish they had fries.

Being new to this area, I didn't realize this was a chain. That said - it's pretty good. Being a vegetarian, my main option was an eggplant parmesan sub(which sounds good since I love eggplant parm.) It was quite good:) The staff was friendly and service was decent. The place has a neat, old-fashioned diner styling.
